Boogie [Short Story]

Initially, the was a collaborative project for a short story pitch about the Boogieman… with a twist. Collaborators are listed at the end of the credits for the video on the left.

I worked on the character rig for Boogie, some animated shots, and lighting/composition for the presented shots. Audio was later added by Steven Gladin.

Night of the Boogie [Alpha Port]

Eventually, the team decided to do a small game project focusing on the main characters and evolving the world in an interactive experience. We created about 5 levels in the form of a platformer and introduced new characters.

I created some of the enemy designs, modeled and animated them and play-tested the levels.

Note: This executable is in alpha. Some functionalities make be broken/unrefined. Gameplay is extremely unbalanced, and therefore, extremely difficult. Still, if you are curious, throw it on your windows computer and try it out!!

Story of Iroko [Concept Presentation]

This is an animation that takes inspiration from the Oluronbi African folktale. This is a work in progress that is meant to be a full story, and a kick-starter for other animations based on folktales.

The Story of Iroko is a tale that flips the perspective from the traditional African folktale Oluronbi, which shows a woman who struggles to sell products at the market praying to the Iroko tree to make her prosperous in exchange for her giving up her first child. This was a research project meant to insight interest for the production of more African folktales presented as full animated episodes.
